WARQATI Project is one of the most important legal awareness projects in Kuwait. Its goal is to empower women and girls legally by raising their legal awareness and informing them of their rights as outlined in Kuwait’s constitution, laws, and international obligations.
This is achieved through a free website that provides legal information and studies in both Arabic and English, covering:
- Women’s rights in family and marriage
- Women’s rights in citizenship, nationality, and political participation
- Protection of women from violence
- Strengthening women’s economic rights (economic empowerment)
