Julles Pilates Studio (2010 – Present)

Julles Pilates Studio, founded in 2010 by WCSS member Khadija Al-Harmi under the umbrella of the Women’s Cultural and Social Society, is a pioneering women-centered wellness and professional training platform that has played an important role in shaping Kuwait’s Pilates and movement-based wellness sector.

More than a fitness studio, Julles was founded with a clear mission: to improve women’s quality of life through movement, rehabilitation, and specialized Pilates education. Through a comprehensive range of Pilates disciplines, including Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel Pilates. The studio supports women in overcoming pain, restoring strength, improving mobility, enhancing posture, and promoting overall physical and mental well-being. More than a place for exercise, Julles has created a supportive women-centered space for healing, strength, and holistic wellness.

A defining contribution of Julles has been its role in developing Kuwait’s Pilates and wellness sector. As Kuwait’s official host training center for Merrithew, one of the world’s leading Pilates education institutions, Julles offers internationally recognized certification programs and advanced professional training that equip women with specialized knowledge, practical skills, and globally accredited qualifications.

Through education, mentorship, and professional training, Julles has created new pathways for women in wellness, entrepreneurship, and specialized movement education, contributing to the growth of Kuwait’s wellness ecosystem while empowering women to pursue meaningful careers that create broader economic and social value. Since its founding, Julles has also contributed to improving the health and wellness journeys of thousands of women in Kuwait, helping expand awareness of movement-based rehabilitation and preventive wellness practices.
