Al Bustan Nursery for Hearing and Speech Impairments (1997 – Present)

Al Bustan Nursery for Hearing and Speech Impairments, affiliated with the Women’s Cultural and Social Society, has been operating since 1997 as one of Kuwait’s specialized early childhood education initiatives dedicated to supporting children with hearing and speech impairments. The nursery serves pre-kindergarten children with varying degrees of hearing impairment, children who have undergone cochlear implant surgeries, and children experiencing language delays, providing specialized educational and developmental support tailored to their individual needs.

The nursery focuses on developing children’s auditory, speech, language, and behavioral skills, while also working closely with families by providing guidance and practical support that helps parents better understand and engage with their children’s developmental journey. Through its specialized services, Al Bustan contributes meaningfully to early childhood inclusion, communication development, and family-centered care.
