\u0641\u064a May 2021<\/strong>, the Women\u2019s Cultural and Social Society joined the Women and Business Committee<\/strong> at the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD) upon invitation from the Secretary-General, reflecting the Society\u2019s longstanding role as a trusted civic voice in advancing women\u2019s empowerment and national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its participation, WCSS contributed to national dialogue aimed at strengthening women\u2019s economic participation, expanding leadership opportunities, and improving the enabling environment for women across public and private sector institutions. The Committee served as a collaborative platform for policy discussion, institutional coordination, and strategic initiatives focused on addressing barriers affecting women\u2019s participation in economic and public life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Society\u2019s engagement was further strengthened through its contribution to policy dialogue informed by international best practices, including frameworks and benchmarking approaches associated with the World Bank\u2019s Women, Business and the Law Report<\/strong>, which examines legal and institutional barriers affecting women\u2019s economic participation. This helped reinforce evidence-based discussion around women\u2019s rights, economic inclusion, and institutional reform within Kuwait\u2019s broader development agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
